WRI deems it necessary to take into account best practice experiences of the implementation of gender-sensitive budgeting in other countries such as Mexico. Within the Mexican context, the implementation of gender-sensitive budgets has been carried out through a synergy between several actors, namely the government (particularly the central government), women activists, and NGOs.
